At Northside Construction, we pride ourselves in keeping a safe operation.
Northside Construction was selected to receive the “Work Safe Alberta Best Safety Performer” award for having experienced a zero lost time claim ratio throughout 2003 – a year that involved a total of 161,400
man hours.
Every work-place entails an exposure to risk. Our goal is to provide a safe environment through careful hazard assessment and diligent application of various control measures.
Our education program – from orientation to “tail gate” – has been developed to promote an awareness and acceptance of responsibility in addition to job function.
Northside and the Environment:
Northside Construction believes in the protection of our environment during its delivery of high quality services.
In 2004, Northside Construction was selected by the Alberta Roadbuilders and Heavy Construction Association to receive the “Environmental Award” in recognition of its involvement in the “Deerfoot Trail Extension Project”.
Through careful application of engineering principles and on-site procedures, the Bow River was protected from the damage by contaminated run-offs during construction phases of the southerly portion of the Deerfoot Trail.
